6th Future of Malaria Research Symposium, JHMRI
The Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute (JHMRI) will host the 6th Future of Malaria Research Symposium prior to the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) annual meeting. The Symposium is organized by postdocs and students and focuses on presentations by early career scientists and emerging leaders in all areas of malaria research. We will have a combination of short and long talks, as well as a keynote speaker, Dr. Alfred Amambua-Ngwa, Career Development Fellow, Center for Genomics and Global Health, Medical Research Council Unit, The Gambia. Scientists at all career levels are encouraged to register and attend!
This year the Symposium will take place on November 13, 2020 and will be held virtually (via Zoom) for a half day (from 8:30 am to 1 pm EST). We will hold this abbreviated online meeting in the morning in hopes that colleagues unable to travel to the Baltimore Washington area in past years can participate!
